Intro to Dance and Create a Musical Classes Winter Showcase

Join us for an unforgettable night of creativity and performance as two of our classes, Intro to Dance and Create a Musical, present their final showcases! The evening begins with our Intro to Dance students taking the stage for a whimsical Alice in Wonderland-inspired performance. Over the past eight weeks, these young dancers have worked together to bring their artistic vision to life, developing a showcase featuring two unique dances—one choreographed by their instructor and one collaboratively created by the students themselves.

Next, the spotlight shifts to the Create a Musical class as they debut The Tragedy of Achilles, a brand-new, student-created musical inspired by The Iliad. Throughout the trimester, this budding playwright, composer, and performer has crafted their own script, lyrics, and melodies, culminating in an original stage reading and singing of their work. The musical features three powerful songs: the “I Want” song, the conflict song, and the resolution song, capturing the drama and emotion of Achilles’ legendary story.
