Intro to Dance and StoryTelling Theatre Combo Immerse your child in a dynamic and creative environment with our **"Intro to Dance and StoryTelling Theatre Combo"** class, designed for 1st-7th graders. This unique course blends the art of storytelling with the joy of dance, offering students the opportunity to explore both theatrical performance and expressive movement. Through alternating sessions led by our experienced instructors, students will dive into activities like scriptwriting, character creation, improvisation, and various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. Each week, students will rotate between theatre and dance, learning to bring stories to life both through acting and expressive dance. In the theatre portion, they will develop their vocal and physical acting skills, enhance their narrative abilities, and collaborate to create performances. In the dance portion, students will build confidence, coordination, and creativity through engaging lessons that focus on musicality and basic dance techniques. By the end of the course, students will have the chance to showcase their storytelling and dance talents at a **Talent Showcase** on November 16th, where they will perform pieces they have worked on throughout the trimester. - **Teachers**: Bradyn Braziel & Alli Somes - **Schedule**: Tuesdays, 4:30 PM - 5:50 PM, from September 17th to November 5th - **Talent Showcase**: November 16th Students are not required to attend every class session to participate in the Talent Showcase; as long as they attend the majority of classes, they will be able to perform. Join us for this exciting combo class where students can develop both their theatrical and dance skills in a supportive, fun environment! $15 to book online in advance, $20 in person on the day of the class. *1st-7th grade indicates that a student must be in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th grade, or the equivalent age, as of the 2024-2025 school year.

Cancellation Policy and Waitlist

Students may cancel their own bookings online up to 3 hours before the class starts. If a class is fully booked, clients can join a waitlist and will be notified if a spot becomes available.
